I also have a 2007 DTS (without the performance package), but mine goes like "stink." I can smoke the front tires from a dead stop and blow the doors off most cars/trucks on the road. I use synthetic oil and premium grade fuel and do a WOT (wide open throttle) run about once a month just to keep things clean and loose. You can look up how to do a WOT elsewhere on this site.
Try these tips and "drive it like you stole it" and see if things improve somewhat... And DO keep an eye on the law enforcement types.
PS, when you smoke the tires on a car like this, you really get some looks, especially from the younger crowd :-)) |
