| Re: winter rims and TPS's Without the sensors in range it should read SERVICE TIRE MONITOR SYSTEM or something like that. That's what I asked if the old rims were in the trunk. I've learned that 24 PSI is the magic number for some reason if a sensor is on the fringe of range.
In other words the sensor is present but having trouble reaching the receiver, that's why I mentioned the caps.
I have 4 brand new sensors and one of them reads 24PSI occasionally but I have plastic caps. I'm going to replace them just haven't had the time.
