I took my car to Island Dragway, NJ today (Sunday). Air temp was around 42 degrees, overcast and very windy. On Saturday I installed the D3 stage I/II intake and ECU, other than that the car is bone stock.

My best run was 12.730 @ 107.99 with a 1.816 60'. The track was really sticky and my best time came with 20 psi in the rear tires (run craps). I found that if I squeezed the throttle just right off the line, the rear would not break loose (some wheel hop but thats about it). Basically launched the car around 1900 RPMs. Oh and I disconnected both rear wheel sensors so I could really heat up the tires. I think with some more practice, I could get to 12.6, maybe 12.5.

Other times were:
12.85 @ 107.81
13.10 @106.14
13.08 @ 106.60
13.37 @ 106.27 (2.072 60' - lots of wheel spin)
13.72 @ 106.20 (reaction time was the only good thing on this pass @ .011)

I've never ran the car in bone stock trim; I'm assuming I picked up at least 4 to 5 tenths with this simple bolt on mod. Its not cheap, but overall I think its worth it (especially if you like the sound of a blower). I got lots of complements today. Good job D3!
