"D3 recommends installation of the ECU box below the intake air filter in the area just behind the driver's side fog lamp assembly. This area stays much cooler than the previous mounting location next to the air filter. Mounting the air filter in the new location will help to prevent any heat-related issue with the ECU box. We typically mount our ECU boxes with zip ties to the wire harness that runs along the frame rail. This provides for a cooler mounting location and the box is still high enough that water should not be able to contact the ECU box. Thank you for your business!" |
