I went that route since I was getting a custom ground cam, and wasn't sure what the 'real' specs would be untill I got it, thus I wanted that safety net. I also used 7.425" pushrods, FWIW, because I have an LS6. Check with Ron on this, and make sure you tell him you have an LS6, and not a LS1/2.

Make sure you do a nice write-up, with pics, vids, before and after dyno's, etc. You are going to love having a cam, and it REALLY turns heads.

I dont really completely understand the benefits of using slightly longer rods and why on the LS6?
