| Re: Didn't work-it's worse You would only want to use polishing compound to repair a bad scuff, and never rubbing compound on a clear coated car. You probably used the product and it was way to aggressive, you will need to use a less abrasive product, and maybe a few of them depending on what damage was done already. Always best when used with something like a Porter Cable or Flex buffer, if you do not have one, you may want to find a good body shop or good detail shop to buff your problem areas out so then it will be easier to keep it looking good.
