On the GMC site you can Compare vehicles side by side showing all the dimensions.
Length, width, head room, leg room, shoulder width, hip width etc
Some of the Lambda frame vehicles wheel base is one inch longer or the same as an Escalade.
Same with width and height but, are lower to the ground.
Leg and head height are very close.
Dimensions are deceiving though, the vehicles are smaller. Period.
The real difference is the hip and shoulder room being 3-5 inches Smaller in the Lambda vehicles.
They say a V-8 will be in them but doubt it will be a 6.2 or anything even close.
Check out the Chevy Traverse.. looks like a CTS inside with an Escalade steering wheel.
The Enclave also has the Escalade steering wheel in it.
Chevy Traverse,
Buick Enclave,
Saturn Outlook and
GMC Acadia
If GM makes the Escalades into Lambda vehicles they may be nice in their own way but they will never be what the Escaldes are now.
