with $500 I would recommend starting with a mutual fund or an Exchange trade fund(ETF). Decide in the beginning what your goals are. If you have not funded an IRA yet, that would be the best place to start, unless you want to have access to the cash. Use any online brokerage, Im partial to Etrade, but any of the bigger ones are ok really. Just read about all their fees and services before opening an account |
