Just took my car (2003 Escalade) in because it was burning oil and smoking and was told that there was a rear axle seal leak. Dealership said that the oil got into the brakes and so they would also have to be replaced as well and wants $850.00 to repair it all. Does this sound right to anyone?
I also noticed a recall on the CTS for this same problem. Is it possible that the Escalades may also have the same problem?
