I had water in my jack compartment too. I have an '04. The odor led me to it. The dealer changed the seal. Said the old one was defective. We shall see. (My jack was not rusted too bad because I keep mine well oiled (I spray it on). They cleaned and fumagated the carpet very well. I'm thinking about drilling a drain hole just in case. This is the only real issue I've had with my SRX (other than that creaking noise in the sun roof - a little oil on the top side of the shade muffs it.) |
