If you want to run all-seasons, then those are fine. I wanted to experience the full performance of the car, and the Pirelli's and most all season tires just don't give the grip. Plus, the summer tires are mounted on the fancy chromed rims, which gives it a great look. In the winters here in Chicago, chrome and road salt don't mix. Not to mention the potholes, snow, ice, and morons who think snow is a license to go
FASTER. So I have the original OEM rims mated to the Advan S4 tires. Decent grip in light to moderate snow. Nothing will help on the ice or the deep stuff. Like Kadonny says, best to just leave the beast at home on those days.
