as for the sound dampening I personally used FATMAT because it was cheap enough I doubled layered it all around and triple layered it in critical points..heard a lot of people say that FATMAT smelled which it did but after I installed it let it dry and covered back up never noticed an odor....huge difference in the subs and well worth it to reduce drone/road noise..I also did the whole trunk in the spare tire well under the trunk lid behind the license plate under the seats..kind of a PITA but got rid of 99% of my rattle from the subs and like I said a lot for road noise | My bad, I meant fatmat. I got 50 feet, so I guess it'll be enough to double layer the trunk and back seat. What would you consider "critical points"? I'm doing it for road noise.
