Re: Advice on what to do to resolve codes

Fellas--

'Preciate all the help -- from the diagnostics to the how-to's and the extra tips.

Based on what you guys explained, I was able to remove the old fuel pump and install a new one. The new pump is working, including its fuel level gauge.

Fuel pressure measures at 43 psi at idle, and for the first time since I've owned the car, the anti-lock breaking system was engaged unintentionally: I was a little overzealous in testing the pump at high speeds (if it even matters).

I'm tired; replacing the pump took me all day; and although everything didn't go completely smoothly, I doubt I experienced anything that isn't already posted somewhere on this forum; so I'll forgo any type of recap -- at least for tonight.

Thanks again fellas, your help has been both accurate and invaluable.

Later this week I'm hoping to tackle the serpentine tensioner, and then later it's on to the A/C compressor...
