ABS correction:
Today I took my original ABS module apart (literally) finally that stubborn lug snapped. I examined very closely the pump and the manifold. There is no return line to the master cylinder, the two lines are one left side and another right side, and the flow direction in both lines is bi-directional following the break pedal:
IN (break pedal down)
OUT (break pedal released).
So there’s NO WAY the ABS module to be culpable for your problem, is either master cylinder or master cylinder (
presuming the fluid level is in specs).
By the way an over $2000 part was down due to a sticky brush

, one of the four brushes was stuck few microns away from the rotor (thus no contact, thus stuck pump). THE WORD IS CORROSION
