| Re: Radio plays same station even on different frequencies I saw an article written by an FCC engineer that was a compilation of all their weird experiences and investigations. One involved the rusty springs in a box springs was playing music. After they found it they went to fix it and the guy who owned it said to leave it alone. As long as he knew where the music was coming from it was kind of neat. It's very common for an audio amp to play music from a strong nearby station. Just about any non-linear impedance can serve as a detector.
