Just to bring this one to a close, I have found some moulded splash guards that worked on my 2008 DTS. They are GM Part Numbers 17800972 front and 17800973 rear. They each come in a set of matched pairs complete with installation instructions and mounting hardware. They are listed by GM as only being applicable to a 2005 Deville. They perfectly matched the contours of my 2008 and mounted very well with some minor modification. They are somewhat tall and thick in their profile, and for that reason I chose to paint them to match my light-coloured car. They would however hide better on a dark colour. I find them a preferable alternative to the universal flat and contoured styles of splash guards that GM also offers. |
