The vinyl we use has been tested to adhere to aluminum (which is a very slippery metal) with no ill effect from -58 to 230 degrees and is resistant to most oils, greases, and fuels (which is very important considering the environment a caliper exists in). If you are still unsure though, a light spray of heat resistant clearcoat after installation will make them near indestructible.

For an idea on caliper heat levels, most caliper seals need to be replaced if they exceed 240 degrees (not to be confused with rotor temps, which of course can easily climb to double that).
