Please do keep us posted about your CTS sound-deadening project. If you are pleased with your results, then I might try again to find an installer, and replicate your installation. Or even become a DIYer myself.
My limited research indicates that DynaMat Xtreme is the most-effective and lightest-weight deadening material. Is that what you used in your Murano?
I too am skeptical of the TireRack customer ratings, but I'm also desperate. And still undecided about tire replacement
