you just have to remove the resevoir tank and the sensor goes through bottom and into the tank. you might have to buy a whole tank
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
Partially drain the coolant.
Remove the surge tank hoses.
Remove the surge tank clip
Slide the surge tank inward until the tabs disengage in order to remove from the wheelhouse panel.
Disconnect the low coolant level switch connector
Clean the surge tank using a mild soap and water if the surge tank is to be reused.
I've also heard if you don't want to get rid of the sensor all together just remove the plug cut the line and twist it together. I haven't done that, but I read that somewhere here.
that's what I would do if my sensor went bad.. cause why do you need a sensor when you can use your eyes to look through a translucent tank. hahaha |
