I always park my Caddy as far away as possible from the other rides to avoid door dings--but watch out for those stray carts on a windy day.I`ve seen too many of those sail into doors/fenders to mention. It happened to me once while i was in the vehicle--luckily it was my winter ride.
I was taught at a very young age by my late father to take great care of my vehicle---no matter the make of it.He kept his vehicles an average 17 years each, and if it was`nt for the brutal winters here in Michigan, which rusted out his rides,he could have kept them much longer. |
Thats exactly how I am, although my Dad wasn't very good when it came to preventive maintence until I forced the issue on him.
My Deville is a 97', it has a few scratchs here and there, but no parking lot dings. Why? Because I park away from traffic, that is a HUGE thing when it comes to prolonging the beauty of a car.
