My daily driver right now is an '04 C5 so I'm a bit spoiled. It's got the mag ride suspension so I'm even more spoiled - handling and ride comfort.

I live in So. Cal. so I don't need AWD for weather related purposes. My question there is whether it improves handling.

Concerning suspension, I'm not sure I want to give up too much comfort for handling. I've read that the "summer tire" suspension(F3?) is a bit harsh but I know it gets the bigger brakes even with RWD.
