Re: Auxilary Water Pump

I took a closer look today. It almost looks like one of the wires that comes out of the temp sender directly underneath the upper radiator hose goes directly into the harness for the pump. Maybe I'm wrong, but I could have sworn I saw a brown/light blue wire coming from the sensor harness into the pump harness. I verified that the pump isn't getting called on. It isn't running, and I tested the connector for juice and it doesn't get any - even when the fan is on. I think it may either be the temp sensor on the radiator or the 'Aux Pump Relay'..i beleive it's relay #3 (K-22 I think).

Also, can someone tell me the order in which the fans come on? So far I've only seen the fans (that are side by side) actually run. I've never seen the condensor fan turn on.

It's strange because the pump I replaced was definately dead, so I thought I solved the problem. I want to make sure the pump is operation before I start tearing into the thermostat.
