| Re: cross drilled rotors You are asking what the 'chances' of a rotor warping on you? Chances are the rotor will warp - inevitably, rotors warp over time. It depends on a ton of factors. How hard are you on the brakes? What climate do you live in? What brake pads do you use? It's almost like me giving you a link to a windshield and asking the question "What are the chances this will crack on me?"
I don't think pattern really has anything to do with the performance or quality - it's for looks. The performance has almost nothing to do with that and almost everything to do wither materials and workmanship, which can't be seen on th ebay ad.
While drilled and slotted rotors are less proned to warping then traditional rotors, your stopping power is typically diminished on dry roads, and while they don't warp as quickly, they are proned to cracking, which is much more serious.
