TO GIVE BACK A SMALL FRACTION OF WHAT YOU GET!!!
If you are on this forum asking for help and not a supporting member, think before you type! I cannot place a value on the help that this forum and it's members have provided me over the past months.
On two occasions, one being after business hours on a Friday, I was really stuck during my maggie install and needed to understand how the relay for the Magnavolt was wired. It was close to zero degrees in the north east and people were offering to go disassemble their cars and get me the information, what is that worth? PRICELESS

On another occasion a weekend, I got the maggie installed and went for a test drive, the "V" started kicking codes, I wanted it fixed then, I did not want to wait and take it to a dealer days later, I posted the issue and several folks jumped in immediately and helped identify the issue so that I felt comfortable in the proper course of action so that I could fix it myself. What is that worth? PRICELESS
Could I afford to have someone else do the work for me, absolutely, I enjoy doing the work myself. However, I am forging into unknown territory since I am a 60's and 70's muscle car kind of guy. My position has nothing to do with the money that I might save with the help of forum members, it has to do with the value of the education that I can receive both from doing it myself and the many members that are willing to give of themselves to help me when I mess up. I would never have been comfortable undertaking such a project if I did not have this forum and it's awesome members to support me. The money is not nearly as important to me as the time. I can post a question at midnight when I get stuck and almost always someone with the requisite knowledge will post an answer and get me unstuck. Try calling your local dealership at midnight and ask to speak with a mechanic

Of course Bill at Lindsay is an exception he has called me late in the evening to help me out but he is definitely the exception and not the rule!
If you are like me, once you begin a project, you will stop at nothing to get it done. I would like to personally thank everyone that has made the time to read my posts and respond. I appreciate you all and feel honored to have the privilege of membership. For those of you that are unwilling to pay and become a supporting member because you have nothing to gain from it, I ask you this? If you are not gaining anything, then why are you still here?
Warmest Regards,
Rob
