Just as Harley Earl intended. All the 1958 GM cars have that same stong family resemblance. Earl did the same thing in 1932, which he considered his favorite year of design.
Some say the 58s look overstuffed, but I like them, especially the 58 Fleetwood. Chrome OD!!
