I am not a big guy but can comment on this subject as I was just talking about it last night with a fellow CTS-V owner. We own an XLR (non V) and I have owned Vettes in the past also. The XLR is tight in a sporting kind of way. It is not a lux fit. The high doors and deep transmission tunnel make for a tight fit even for those of us that are not large in stature. I was just saying last night that I feel much more comfortable in my CTS-V and enjoy driving the car much more than our XLR because of it. My wife wanted the XLR while she was still young enough to have a "look at me" car but I must say the V sedans make for better daily drivers. I guess I am just getting old (43) because I never felt cramped by any of the Vette's I owned when I was in my late 20's and early 30's. |
