Re: GM factory extended warranty?

The Corvette is the best car I've ever owned to date. And it's the first GM car I've owned and what inspired me to buy another. They're sports cars, built to be driven hard. With the exception of the flasher module, which tends to go bad on the C5's, the other stuff was incidental. Well, the hairline cracks in the rear rim spokes are arguable on that point. When a light bulb burns out in a module, they don't replace the light bulb. The replace the whole module, which to my way of thinking borders on insane. No wonder GM is bleeding red ink. The DIC control module and instrument cluster were both replaced because of burned bulbs. But they were covered under the warranty, so what the heck.
