you would have to remove the entire intake, and lose the variable intake fun that comes with the car. that and roots style blowers ARE pretty big.
in all honesty for the 3.6 I would go with a centrifugal blower, it could be mounted where the giant air cleaner is now without too much trouble.
even better would be a turbo. the 3.6 is decently torquey off the line, I never have problems smoking my tires when I want to, A little bit of turbo lag will help the car get moving and then the power kicks in. its a lot more gentle on the trans and the rear as well.
or you could go the "cheap" route and do nitrous. we have oil cooled pistons so the engine can take a lot of heat in the combustion chamber. | Good pointers Kael! |
