Sorry, but I get my Z's mixed up from time to time.

I used Z2 for the base coat and then wiped the car down with a layer of Z6 and then Z8.
My understanding is that the car was railed. The paint had what appeared to be black-pepper flecks. The number became obvious when the clay started dragging over the surfaces and turning black around the surface edges. This isn't hard to do and I could see and literally feel the difference in the surface. (I used less than a third of Mothers clay bar with soapy water.) When I bought my C6 Corvette I clayed the car and found that it was practically useless; I couldn't find any such stuff. But the Vette was supposedly shipped only by truck. And if you want a good treatment for the interior and exterior vinyl, I highly recommend 303 protectant. Great look and lots of protection.
