When we were kids we used to play on the Pikton farm.
Up the road to the empty lot, through the lot to the creek, cross the creek to the trail in the woods and follow the trail to the back of the property.
One time me and my friend Ricky Hunt went up to the farm to do what kids do and suddenly we were surrounded by bout 4 shepherds.
They were with Old Lady Pikton. We had never seen anyone before that far back on the property.
She was nice enough though. Took us for a tour of the farm (not like we hadnt seen most all of it before). Showed us all the animals and met one of the sons feeding the chickens. Then invited us in for milk and cookies.
What a creepy house. Right out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre but without all the bones. Dark and dusty with drawn heavy dark curtains. Old old furniture.
She brought us a snack. We ate the carrots but didnt drink the milk and stuffed the cookies in the couch cushions and made some excuse to get the hell outta there.
We were pretty young and neither of us had ever seen a bald women before. Was a bit creepy ! |
