I've tried searching for quite a while, I just can't find the info I'm looking for. Anway, I own a 1999 eldo with the bose system. Exactly what would I need to install a new hu into this thing? I know some cars have to have the hu plugged in at all times or else the car will have problems. I'm just curious what harness I need to either get rid of the bose hu completely, or relocate it to the trunk for the critical data it may provide, while using an aftermarket unit to play cd's, radio, etc. Also, is there anyway to add a sub to the stock bose system? I have an amp and sub box, etc, I'd just need to know what kit I need as well as what wire to tap into to get a rca style signal to the amp. I may just add a sub and leave the bose equipment for a while, since as far as I know, I can't use an aftermarket hu with the stock speakers....
