But I will not excuse a service organization and technical support org that won't even believe the problem exists. The excuse that you can't reproduce a problem does not preclude fixing it.
Many computer and automotive problems are intermittent in nature and you have to do some logical thinking as to what the problem source could be and take action.
This problem isn't even intermittent. I can reproduce the faliure any morning where the temp is low enough. The conditions of failure are quite definable and it isn't all that tough to do.
No excuses, these people just don't want to get involved. As great as the car is, there are some design people on this vehicle that haven't a clue. |
