| Re: '71 Deville 472 cam and header help as for your cam question, it depends on what RPM range the engine will run in. If you put a high lift, long duration cam in an engine running stock manifolds with no port work and stock compression, you'll end up with a horrible running engine that you'll hate to drive. Slightly wilder than stock cam with a good 2-plane intake and the shorty headers will give you a much more drivable vehicle. For some simple cam choices, check out MTS's site... |
