Well, I don't own this...but I got to drive/wash it today at work.
1979 Sedan deVille. Black with red leather interior and a red pinstripe. 108k miles.
Mini review: (I only drove it around the parking lot at work, so forgive me, but here goes)
Between the '84 Sedan deVille I drove, and the '90 Brougham I've driven quite a bit, the '79 felt a lot more like the '90, but it was probably because they both had the leather interior (probably the exact same seat). The seats were comfy, but lacked the lateral support that my seats do, they felt wider and flatter, but not as deep as the cloth seats in that '84 (those seats were to die for!). Otherwise, the 425 provided ample low end torque, but oddly enough, it didn't feel *that* much more powerful or torquey, and the throttle responce was (obviously) not as sharp as the EFI cars. Otherwise, from memory, the car didn't feel that much different than the other 77-92 D bodies I've driven.
