"i'd like to see you do better. " Isn't that a silly comeback? Why do people always think "can you do better" somehow invalidates the criticisms. I'm with you that I disagree with the criticisms but one doesn't need to be a good singer to know a good song anymore than an old former runner who can no longer can cannot judge a 100m dash.

The just of the Latin means Sweet Lord Jesus give them rest - tollis peccata mundi means "to lift up sin, to clean" and dona eis requiem means "offering these repose" At the end they sing sempiternam requiem which means "eteernal rest" or respose. Thus, you will note the video backing this song shows war and death, etc.

krmn2000, no it´s not a movie, this is the video of the song, it´s from the Andrew Lloyd Webber Requiem CD, it´s a great Cd. There was also a concert, with Sarah Brightman, Paul Miles-Kingston, and Plácido Domingo, you can watch the concert on YouTube :D
