i don't hate steve perry. i love steve perry! him and eric martin (ex-singer for Mr. Big) are my two favorite singers. but no one can compare to steve perry, his voice is god.

Arnel is amazingly similar and can stand on his own two feet, especially with the new stuff, where he sounds fantastic. But Perry was like a god to me. Still is really." that is Journey, but instead of steve perry (as you already know) is arnel pineda. but the drummer is deen castrnovo, who worked with neal schon in a group called Hardline, and also worked with both neal schon and jonathan cain in a group called Bad English.

i thought Steve Perry was kicked out of the band because, after a rock-climbing incident, he had to get hip surgery. so, the band waited almost two years (maybe a year and a half or something) for him to get his hip surgery done, but he never got it. so, then they found Steve Augeri, but he left because i think he has a throat infection or something.

What SP having hip surgery,that made him quit Journey? It was SP's BIG DECISION to stop Schon and Cain from SODOMIZING him, SP was brilliant thinking he will just be used with this kind of shit.
