I love Obama, and I have the greatest hopes for his presidency.. but I very much have a strong support for Ron Paul, and I would absolutely vote for the guy if he had been the republican nominee. He's just very smart, and very common sense, and very real on the issues. It's amazing that this guy made it to congress.. seriously, i'm not a military guy, but if he was elected, i would be proud to join the military and salute him.. i'm so serious about that.

Why is it that people can't put two and two together and see that in 1913 was the year the the bankers took control of our monetary system and instituted the income tax which we didn't need but for a short time since the beginning of this country? The Federal Reserve is not Federal and has no reserve other than a printing press. Russert is a putz. Funny how all he does is drill Paul and try to make him look like a fool when the fool is Tim.

Al-Qaeda didn't exist during that time, lol, so that would be bizarre. I think you mean the mujahideen, which was a collection of Muslim fighters from around the world. If you payed attention, you might know that many former Mujahideen are fighting Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. So, the argument could made that the U.S. propped up the resistance to Al-Qaeda, if you're going to use that logic. Ahmad Shah Massoud was one of the most famous mujahids, and he was assassinated by Al-Qaeda. You're wrong.
