Prime Tyson actually was a very well conditioned fighter who could fight 12 rounds without any problems. It was when he had the layoffs from prison 1992-1996 and other layoffs that hurt his conditioning and he started developing a reputation as a guy who came out strong early and faded by round 5. 1986-1988 Tyson didnt have that problem. Mike Tyson was intimitading as hell. That was part of his success. His opponents were often scared shitless of him. He just rushed into the fights with raw power and overwhelmed his opponents...He was a machine.
