Great answer to Stalin and Hitler being atheists. Communist governments in particular drew from religion to create the cult of personality. Stalinism was a religion, and Stalin was God. And both believers in Stalin and non-believers died during his rule. Just like everywhere in the world.

return to Allah, the only true God. worship Allah alone. He's the only God deserving to be worshipped. there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger. Become practicing Muslim today. Commit to Islam, the only perfect way of life. attain salvation and Allah's Mercy in acceptance of Islam. there is no other way but Islam

Hey Magnulus76. Hitler was a beliver! He believed in Christianity and Jesus!. Thats why he killed Jews. He was an idiot. Educate yourself! Screw the Crusades and Christianity!

Sam Harris is naive. Hitler, Stalin etc were atheism incarnate. If there's no God, people will fashion one with their own hands and their own egoes.

In all honesty, you're avoiding the question--"what facts?" Can you provide examples? You cannot uphold Stalin's communist bent and at the same time deny any connection to his deeply held atheistic worldview. You have not answered how, logically, atheistic philosophy cannot lead to communism. The two are inexorably intertwined. What is the sort of "extraordinary evidence" that would satisfy, in your opinion, the "extraordinary claims" of there being a Creator to the universe?
NoBullOnlyFacts (October 10, 2008 at 1:59 pm)
I have addressed every single one of your questions: You wanted to insinuate that atheism leads to communism --> I debunked that one big time. You wanted to know what facts would lead him to NOT believe in a creator --> Every single one of them! The burden of proof, a part from that, is always on the one claiming the extraordinary. For extraordinary claims one needs extraordinary evidence. None exist in favor of a divine being - not a single one.

You have done everything but address my questions. If you want to discuss things in an unbiased and logical manner than please, address my questions. "As for the holy texts.." What??? I said originally "I suppose the only way to KNOW is to check it out for yourself huh?" That was in reply to you saying Ravi Zacharias must arrive at his conclusions about God because the Bible says so. Did you just misunderstand my point?
NoBullOnlyFacts (October 9, 2008 at 7:44 pm)
Atheism is just a matter of saying: "I don't believe in the supernatural - If you have some evidence for it, please show me - if you haven't I will continue not to believe in the supernatural thank you." As for the holy texts, I was laughing it up really hard from the first page when the superhero known as God decides to create the Earth just like that. That was a funny first chapter to get the book started :-) It was much like any other science fiction book I have ever read. no more - no less.

Oh dear - here we go again... "Atheism" is not "communism". Stalin was a "communist", he was also an educated theologists, so he knew a little bit about how to deceive the masses I guess ;-) Stalin constructed a society in which HE himself was to be idolized. In other communist societies such as North Korea, the leaders are even attributed divine status and people are forced into worship of their persona. So you tell me, please, why atheism has anything to do with communism?
