Am ok with people believing Derren and worshipping him. Lot's of people like Uri Gellar or Cris Angel but the matter of the fact is all says not too use actors stooges etc but thats entirly bullshit. Uri uses actors and stages scenes, same as for Cris and Derren. It's sad they keep on saying no actors this all is real etc. but hey that's TV for you, 80% of the news you hear on the TV is bullcrap anyway.

when you think of something hard enough you begin to show it in your base body and facial language. I believe that Derren thinks of something hard enough to let his face alter slightly to make the other person think of something subconsciously.

He was attacking his opponent spiritually. the feeling of incredible terror is definitely devil's works. if barren did not stop, this man could have had spiritual manifestation. i've seen it b4.

Derren Brown has said these are tricks done on the TV audience, not the folks in the street. DB has said in interviews that his shows are not being honest with the audience... He has said he will do this (or any trick) with hundreds of people till he has recorded a few responses that fit what he want the TV audience to believe. Then when showing the two "fitting" responses (out of a hundred) you, the audience (only seeing the two "fitting" responses) believe he has accomplished something.

hahaha!!! very SciFi!!! I think it has more to do with how he's staring at them. You can show certain feelings with how you stare at people. Mixed with other emotions it makes people feel wierd...
