I came back to this music after watching Fitna, the movie about Islam's Horror by Geert Wilder. He uses The Death of Ase from Peer Gynt in the movie. It's amazing how the music goes from the utter bliss of Morning into the utter Despair of Death of Aae.

Griegs beautiful awakening to a fresh new day(morning)!.........dawn has broken, the leafs rustle, flower buds open, butterflies flit into the air, birds sing and stretch there wings and fly majestically over the oceans of our coast lines & valleys!......... a wonderful piece of melodic calm and subtle music of the highest order!

if the crescendo at:58 doesnt put goose bumps on you, then you are either totally deaf ,or you have no pulse.one of the most moving melodies i have ever heard

Mood of expressiveness and serenity, more than just a landscape to my ears, an innocent morning poem and notice.

Amazing how a song can make your day, isn't it? This and Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody no.2 (part 2 especially ; search it, it's worth it, trust me ^__^) simply make me put up a smile! Awesome! 5/5! |
