Ed, you could be right, but a few thoughts: 1) Compare apples to apples. A CTS is a "four door sports car." A 350Z is a sports car. 2) 0-60 time of 5.9 seconds with RWD and a manual transmission doesn't really seem slow to me. 3) I've had mine for a couple of days now (AWD, 304hp) and I can say that while it's not the fastest thing on the road, it probably has the best, most well balanced and communicative steering I have ever seen on a car. Overall, I think Cadillac hit a home run here,

i like how hes saying "we've only got the 3.6" to explain why the 350Z is pulling away. lolz, the 350Z has a 3.5 only. it also has either the same or 20 LESS HP depending on the year, but hes saying "the Nissan has too much HP for us to catch up" and was a convertible as well, which means it has much added drag over a coupe.

a 530i is *technically* better, for that matter a 523d is but that's not my point. I phrased it badly-to those of us which the 'personality' of a car matters, a Cadillac offers a LOT more than any German car
I'm British so I'm not bashing BMWs and Mercedes and so on because of patriotism-they just don't excite me

no, its just cheaper. i wish more often domestics would make a car that you could say "this is a great car" without having to add "for the money" to the end of the sentence.
sorry, but the BMW 530i will blow its doors off, its just 20 grand more expensive. |
