I'm not trying to be mean, or anything, I really like your riding and other vids, but just a thought: Your horse seems to lean a bit on some turns, and I think if you steadied him going into your turns and put your inside leg on, and didn't lean as much, he might be a little bit steadier to the fence. Just a thought, you don't have to take my advice. Hope I helped!

No. I realize that in jumper "shows" one must make tight turns. But do you think international riders ride their horse's like that everyday? The point to what I said is that she shouldn't go out and ride like that everyday...especially over and over. I'm sure the horse got it the first 3 or 4 times.

its called a 'jumpoff' they are tight but they are balanced and moving forward so there is no need to get all over the top about it!!

Uh, okay...What does that have to do with what I said? Not trying to be rude but...WHAT?

ERM..........
have any of you seen showjumping horses hocks. i have seen plenty of xrays and i can tell you that the only reason those horses are sound is because of so many different treatments. steroid injections are very popular, or so i am told........
This comment wasn't directly aimed at you it was aimed at everyone commenting on the state of this horses legs.
My horse has arthritis and she's 11! she has never jumped bigger than 4ft 2 in her life!

Oh my god! Those turns are way too tight! Good gracious, I'm suprised your pony doens't dump you on the ground. If you continue riding like that your horse will have HORRIBLE joint problems, especially in it's hocks. |
