All the historical incidents sited in this song were done by God believing people who thought they were doing Gods work. He never asks you to forgive the devil, but rather check yourself as in if your doing evil. SYMPATHY for the devil? These guys are promoting devil worship. They prrraaaiiisseee satan! They want you to have sympathy for the devil and forgive him for his wrongdoings. Well I'm not doing that. I see right through their little plan. As soon as I forgive him - he'll snatch me up like a vulture and take Jesus away from me.
