No. What they do is convert energy from one form to another. Delta energy remains the same.

I don't have a TV :)
Anyways, our media is pretty good at busting politicians who mess up. Pretty good indication that they're not in their pocket.
Other clean energy devices are supported and encouraged by the government. What would make this the exception?

There are systems made that put out more energy than is put into it

I'm not saying this guys device works nor do I really care. However I'm sure there are devices out there that do work and those are the patents bought up by big oil companies. I'm sure various governments also have technology far beyond anything the public is allowed to use. The media is their little bitch and will say anything to get the public to think the way the government wants. Almost everything any of you believe and who you think you are is a direct result of the damned media.

We will never see free energy machines, period :)
People make public claims of them, but where are the powerplants that use them to generate free power at no cost for the producers? (you mentioned greed yourself).
The laws of thermodynamics are useable because things like this doesn't break them. They are not made by mankind, but mankind use them to describe the world as it is. And it works every time, for some reason...
Suge212 (August 20, 2008 at 9:20 pm)
LOL big oil buys these patents and sits on them so no one else can develop them. Oil/gas are limited resources, therefore it can be used as a meathod of massive financial gain, resulting in more control. It's entirly greed based and fear of an economic crash. Millions of people would be out of work if free energy machines were allowed to be sold on the global market. We will NEVER see free energy in our current society. The world as we know it will end long before free energy becomes public.

I can think of plenty of reasons why oil companies would like to invest in such technologies; oil is a limited resource, and providing clean energy would provide awesome PR, for example.
On the other hand, natural laws like the conservation of energy cannot be broken, which is why these engines always (also in this case) turns out to be scams. He did admit it didn't work.

Ok, it's a given that the oil is one of, if not THE, biggest industry in the world...Given that corporate interests and politics are thoroughly tied, can you think of any reason why such technology would be bad for these corporate interests |
