It's not the guitar...it's just a coincidence that Page was using the Les Paul when his drinking and drug use started getting way out of control and he'd go on stage messed up as hell.
Even still, I'd rather watch Page on his worst nights and just about anyone else on their best.

I love this version because you can hear the drums and bass more so than in others, the best bow solo though is hands down the version at royal albert hall

john was the best drummer ever,he played them drums so lound he was much more of a drummer and meant more to the band than most drummers do,thats why they counld not replace him.
