ALright fine i just wanted to prove my point that blocking helps other people get out of the fight without getting concussions. Oh, and i wouldn't lecture someone about blocking if you yourself said "My wrist is still tingling" from a kick. Correct blocks block with the forearm, not the wrist. either the guy you faced against was real fast, or you messed up. either way lol

yu are right a singe block can break a bone but in this style of fighting blocking is not really the point is speed and power and rules are and blocking with elbows gets yu disqualified and if yu been to tournaments a lot of judges call anything dat goes near yur elbo and elbow block even if it didnt touch yur elbow and bam get disqualified

yur right in a way and wrong in a way i do both styles fighting when i was into it point style and olympic ye deya re quick but with experince yu can adjust yurself to block even in olympic style fighting why you think they keep their arms down on da sides cause if there was a pit-shagi it could b easily blocked by da arms but its true over time yu get used to the pin

lol 3;36, the korean dudes like raising his right hand "yea got the point" and then oops wrong hand and raises his left and back to his right. then the french dudes like fcuk this and kicks him in the face
blizzta1 (August 28, 2008 at 11:17 pm)
that is the reason why most people don't keep there hands up. they'll get disqualified 90% of the time cause they aren't allowed to blocked with their elbows.

yea there are no belts and you spelt muay thai wrong lol
eagleye11 (August 28, 2008 at 7:59 pm)
with a sport as quick as this, blocks arent your best option, youve got to toughen up your skin to make it tighter and stronger so the impact isnt as painful when you are kicked, im not a taekwondo expert like davian down there(lol) but in my experiance in muay thai, you gotta keep toughening your skin or your in a world of hurt

after all , a black belt is just a white belt that never gave up. I've sparred against some black belts before (ITF taekwondo)but I've had just as much trouble sparring against lower belts

Another internet warrior bragging about something you can't proof to make him sound like an authority.Judging by the bad and unrealistic advice you're proposing, I doubt you have seen more than hundred TKD fights. If you want to defy the laws of physics and try to block a leg with a much weaker arm, go ahead. Your not-so-stone wall will crumble very soon. Just don't give other people bad advice that will get them or their opponent injured. TKD competition is not about injuring people's legs.
