torque just helps if uv got more weight in the car ie ppl and towin stuff.so if u had 2 ppl sittin in each car the car with more torque would be abit quicker lol

I AM NOT SURE SO PLEASE IF ANY MISTAKE, SORRY AND CORRECT ME.
i think if two cars has same HP but one has more torque. the torque should help that car get to its full total HP quicker. where as the other even though same HP will take a lil longer to get to its full HP.
sorry if im incorrect this is just form what i understand. again correct if its not or confirm if i am right as i would like some clarification.

could any one tell me how does torque help a car to perform better.
i mean if two cars have the same HP and one has got more torque, would that mean it will win? and why?

I think you missed the point... many cars are monsters in straights and/or curves. It's not all about that. MB, BMW, and even Audi > a Caddy anyday. Period.
