oops i mean't you'll be "beyond" tabbing
IKillForNyQuil (October 13, 2008 at 1:43 am)
Yeah man, learn your scales, modes, and chords, then you realize the point of this stuff isn't to "tab out" but to come up with it on the spot. When it comes to learning jazz man don't take a monkey see monkey do approach, learn all your music knowledge, then analyze the music, then you'll be being tabbing anything out.
P.S. If you try to musically scrutinize Miles Davis when listening to him, he WILL fuck with you, just a word of caution.

Dude, the Europeans will always be more progressive than the US. Look what happened here, the redneck agenda here, US, drove a beautiful thing to Europe and Free Thinkers like most of us and our families missed out.

it's not free bop they're creating here . . . there's no such thing. it's supposed to be called "free jazz". also, what they're doing here was the birth of avant garde . . . amazing music. grachan moncur III is my fav avant-gardist and jimi hendrix was one himself.
