The most agile car you can get for £1,000 to £2,000. Tiff is a great driver and can make any car look good but Pumas are sporty little machines. Certainly no 'hairdresser's car' like all the men that have never even been in one say.

Sorry, but I'm sort of new to this and am still learning myself.
My guess would be to shift into neutral when entering the turn and shift into reverse only after the car has turned around.

No.
I'm talking about whenever your car's in first and as you shift into reverse as you pull a 180 on the handbrake. Is it possible to do this without grinding the gears?
And if I sound ignorant, then educate me.

Your not trying to do this with an automatic transmission are you?

How can you manage to go from first to reverse without grinding the gears?

Never thought i'd see a front wheel car pull off a decent "drift", still nothing on rear wheel but fair doo's was good lol.

too much handbrake turning can stretch your handbrake cable, making it looser. But that can be tightened by a mechanic or probably yourself if you know how. so it's not very risky. just be carefull with your gears when going backwards i guess.

Well, I must say that I live in a veeery boring place, nothing but potatoe fields around here :D ... next "usable" parking lot is 15km (about 10 miles) away from here...

yea but on gravel that should be all right. If you'd like to try I'd recommend to try it on a gravel parking lot!
I'm doing that almost daily and it is soooo much fun =)
cost on gas of cause

uhm, I think it won't be too good for the tyres... besides that you can crash into something... I got my driving license for 1 year and I won't try it that soon since I don't think I'm skilled enough yet, I would just crash into something :D. |
